The most important aspects that we considered in making the masks for Babies, Children, Adolescents and adults were:
- The mask must not have a sagittal - vertical nose-mouth seam (Seams on the face of the mask in the filtering area are not recommended) Avoid masks that have seams near the mouth and in the breathing area.
- The breathing resistance of these masks must allow wearing for a duration of 4 hours.
- Masks must maintain filtration and breathability performance as specified after at least 3-4 washes.
- To avoid leakage at the edges of the masks, it should allow adjustment for the face with a nose and chin cover.
AFNOR SPEC S76-001 transmits the following information:
The "cotton textile protective mask with non-woven filter" device is intended to complement protective measures and social distancing rules. It is intended for the general public and especially for any healthy or asymptomatic person.
The textile protective mask in no way exempts the user from the application of protective measures, which are essential and social distancing rules.
This device is not a medical device in the sense of Regulation EU / 2017/745, nor is it personal protective equipment in the sense of Regulation EU / 2016/425.
A protective cloth mask is intended for use by healthy people who do not show any clinical symptoms of viral infection and are not in contact with people who show such symptoms.
Wearing the mask is limited to half a day and constitutes a protective barrier against a possible penetration of the virus into the mouth and nose area of the user or from a close person. It is intended to protect this area against any contact with hands.
IMPORTANT We draw attention to the fact that the protective mask will have maximum efficiency if it is worn in direct contact with the skin.
A protective mask covers the nose, mouth and chin (protection area see figure 1)
The protective mask made by Artconfex SRL and sold through ANNEBEBE.RO AND CAMERABEBELUSULUI.RO is made of two layers of 100% cotton textile material and one layer of antibacterial non-woven filter material with Aloe.
This mask has an adjustment device on the user's head through two straps made of elastic special for medical masks, a soft elastic, without rubber.
It will be adjustable to fit snugly over the wearer's nose, cheeks and chin to provide sufficient sealing of the user's face from the ambient atmosphere, when the user's skin is dry or wet, or when the user moves their head.
Inhaled air penetrates most of the protective mask through the 3 layers of material. Expired air is discharged via the same route directly into the ambient atmosphere.
We recommend that you check the position of the filter every time you remove or fix the mask on the user's face. The filter must cover the entire breathing area and at least 1.5 cm on the side.
MATERIALS USED FOR THE PRODUCTION OF MASKS:
The materials used must withstand handling and wear throughout the life of the protective mask.
Materials that may come into contact with the user's skin have no known risk of irritation or adverse health effects. They are purchased from large factories in Italy, Spain, Germany, France and are not kept in non-compliant warehouses.
AnneBebe masks are made of very high quality textile materials
- minimum 2 layers of textile material - 100% cotton with prints
- minimum 1 layer of textile material - non-woven - 100% polyester - with aloe vera and antibacterial
* for personalized masks by embroidery we recommend the use of several internal filters!
CLEANING PROTECTIVE MASKS FROM TEXTILE MATERIALS:
The protective mask is designed to be reusable; the materials used must withstand the cleaning and drying products and methods specified on the packaging.
It is recommended that the protective mask withstand at least 5 washing cycles. The complete washing cycle (wetting, washing, rinsing) must be at least 30 minutes, with a washing temperature of at least 45° C and professional products, afterwards it will be ironed at high temperatures using an iron.
It is not recommended to use cleaning products other than those normally used for washing without first being sure that they are not toxic in terms of inhaled residues and that their use does not damage the materials.
It is recommended to check the integrity of protective masks after each disinfection, washing, ironing. If damage to the protective mask is detected (it has shrunk, expanded, deformed, or shows signs of wear in the material or seams, etc.) after a cycle of disinfection, washing, ironing, the protective mask is considered non-compliant.
The used filters will be thrown away in safe places after each use. It is not recommended to wash, dry or iron the filters.
FIXING METHOD:
The grip must be strong enough to hold the barrier mask in place to avoid over-tightness and wearing discomfort.
ARTCONFEX masks do NOT use staples because they can be a danger or a problem for the user.
ARTCONFEX masks will be fixed to the user's face by soft, rubber-free elastic bands used in the production of single-use masks.
SEWING METHODS:
For sewing the protective masks, we took into account the sewing recommendations sent by AFNOR.
HOW TO USE ANNEBEBE.RO PROTECTIVE MASKS – CAMERABEBELUSULUI.RO
The masks produced by our company, ARTCONFEX SRL, are made of at least 2 layers of textile material - 100% cotton & 1 layer of filtering material - 100% polyester - antibacterial with aloe vera.
The filters are disposable and will be changed after each use. The filters are not recommended to be washed, disinfected or ironed! The filters of the protective masks will be checked before each use!
The disposable filters will be inserted through the specially created space in the upper part of the mask, above the nose. The long part of the filter will be placed perpendicular to the protective mask, and the smaller part of the filter will be placed horizontally to cover the nose and mouth + 1-2cm to the side.
The protective mask does not exempt the user from the application of protective measures and social distancing measures, which are essential.
The use of the protective mask will be done taking into account the compatibility of its use with the wearing of personal protective equipment (safety glasses, protective helmet, protection against noise, etc.).
To be effective, AFNOR recommends that the protective mask be used correctly. For this, it is recommended to wear the mask on bare skin (in other words, without the presence of hair in contact with the user's skin and, for certain people, shaved skin) and follow the following steps presented by AFNOR SPEC S76-001:
- Wash your hands with soap and water or rub with a hydroalcoholic solution before any handling of the mask
-
To reuse the mask, make sure that it has been disinfected, washed and ironed beforehand in accordance with the recommendations presented in this document and on the product label.
- Grab the protective mask by the elastic straps and place it on the face, covering the nose first
- Hold the protective mask on the outside and pass the elastic bands, on either side of the ears.
- Pull the lower part of the protective mask under the chin.
- Pinch the bridge of the nose with both hands to adjust it over the nose;
7. Check if the protective mask is positioned correctly. This should be done by checking the seal and so that there is no respiratory discomfort. To check the seal, cover the mask with a plastic film, and when inhaling, the mask should flatten on the face.
WARNING: The use of a plastic bag for verification is prohibited!
REMOVING THE PROTECTIVE MASKS:
To avoid contamination when removing a protective mask, it must be properly removed and isolated, either for disposal or for washing. For this, AFNOR's recommendations are:
- If you have protective gloves, it is recommended to wear them when removing the mask from your face.
- Wash your hands with soap and water or rub them with a hydroalcoholic solution;
WASHING AND IRONING PROTECTIVE MASKS:
Any contact between a dirty protective mask (which must be washed) and clothing must be avoided. It is recommended to wash protective masks separately from the rest of the clothing.
We recommend that the Person who takes care of the washing should protect himself with gloves and a protective mask, when he takes out the dirty masks and puts them in the washing machine.
Before and after any washing of the protective masks, it is recommended to clean the washing machine, doing a cold rinse with bleach or running it empty at 60 ° C or 95 ° C, without spinning.
A water-soluble bag can be used - during the washing phase, if the mask allows - to limit contact between people and soiled masks.
It is not recommended to use specific products, other than those normally used for washing, without first being sure that they are not toxic in terms of inhaled residues and that their use does not damage the materials. The complete washing cycle (wetting, washing, rinsing) must be at least 30 minutes with a washing temperature of at least 45°C.
NOTE It is recommended to disinfect the masks with a disinfectant spray before inserting them into the palace machine. The use of a water softener is not recommended!
It is recommended to completely dry the protective mask within two hours after washing. Protective masks must not be dried in the open air.
For domestic drying, a dryer should be used. In all cases, protective masks must be completely dry (all layers of cotton, including elastic)
NOTE It is not recommended to clean protective masks with a microwave oven.
A visual inspection (with protective gloves or washed hands) should be performed before and after each wash cycle. If any damage to the barrier mask is detected, the protective mask must be discarded.
After complete drying, it will be ironed upside down, at the highest possible temperature, without degrading the print or burning the material.
NOTE: It is not recommended to iron the elastic ear clips. To disinfect them, use hot steam that you direct at these elastics from a minimum of 15cm.
The filters will be inserted ONLY AFTER CALCING and complete cooling of the masks. The long part of the filter will be mounted vertically, and the short part horizontally, in this way the mouth and nose will be covered by the filter.
The filters will be inserted through the upper slot of the mask, and for protection, this slot will be worn towards the inside.
REMOVING A PROTECTIVE MASK:
Protective masks must be thrown in a bin, but before being thrown away they will be sealed in a hermetically sealed plastic bag. Double packing is recommended to preserve the contents of the first bag in case the outer bag breaks during collection.
Soiled barrier masks can also be disposed of in biological waste bins
PERIOD OF USE OF PROTECTIVE MASKS:
The protective mask must be washed every time it is dirty, wet or poorly positioned on the face.
IMPORTANT NOTE: It should not be placed in a standby position on the forehead or under the chin during the saddle after use.
During a single 4-hour period, the mask may be used multiple times provided that it is removed each time in accordance with the instructions, temporarily stored or hung in such a way that there is as little contact as possible and that it is put on from new according to instructions.
The wearing period must comply with the instructions for use. In all cases, this must be less than 4 hours in a single day (equivalent to half a working day).
Using protective cotton masks partially protects you from contacting viruses or spreading viruses through coughing, sneezing or breathing. These masks do not provide you with 100% protection, but they contribute significantly to preventing the spread of viruses.
The children's mask is made of 3 layers of materials: 2 layers of 100% cotton textile material on the outside, filter material on the inside - antibacterial non-woven material 20gr/m2 treated with aloe vera.
The protective mask should never be used for protection against chemicals.
- The barrier mask does not need to be frozen: the viral agent would simply be retained, and at 4 °C it would fully retain its infectious character.
-
Social distancing rules (at least one meter) must be respected, even if you wear a protective mask.
FIELD OF USE:
Maintenance: After each use or whenever necessary, clean the mask according to the specifications:
- it is disinfected with disinfectant spray
- wash in water solution with universal detergent at 60 °C and rinse
- after washing, dry freely and iron at high temperature
- after ironing, it is packed in polyethylene bags until reuse
This is a simple design equipment, according to HG no. 115/2004.
This product is NOT an AnneBebe medical device – SC ARTCONFEX SRL does not assume responsibility for possible illness situations!
For reasons of hygiene, cotton masks cannot be returned.

ensures a psychological calming effect when wearing;
100% cotton, natural material;
reusable, after washing and ironing.
Why is it advisable to wear a protective mask in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic?
Specialists recommend us to protect ourselves by using masks, but also by applying social distancing rules or special hygiene measures. What we need to know first of all is that there is a small difference between medical or surgical masks and protective cotton masks. Cotton masks are made, as the name says, from 100% cotton, in a variable number of layers, but which have the main role of preventing the transmission of infection from the wearer to the community. In the case of medical or surgical masks, however, we are talking about the prevention of illness for medical personnel, by the fact that these masks are made of materials that filter the air that the wearer inhales.
Cotton protective masks are indicated to be used to limit the spread of infection in the community, considering the fact that the infection with COVID-19 often remains asymptomatic. Specialists recommend us to wear this type of mask in public, when we are in the vicinity of other people, to reduce the risk of contaminating those around us, but also to protect our nose and mouth from possible particles that may come from environment.
What do you need to know before using cotton protective masks?
Before applying the mask, it is recommended to properly sanitize our hands, either with an alcohol-based disinfectant, or with soap and water if available. The mask is applied to the face so that it fits as well as possible and does not require subsequent positioning or frequent touching of the face when we are in public.
If we have used the mask too many times, we can throw it away or sanitize it and reuse it (if it is made of cotton). The removal of a mask is done correctly from the level of the elastics with which it is provided in the side areas, taking care not to touch the face.
How can we sanitize protective cotton masks?
Cotton protective masks can be disinfected with the help of disinfectant sprays or using water and universal detergent, in the washing machine at the 60 degree program. After the masks have been washed, they are left to dry, and then they are ironed at high temperatures. Until the next use, the manufacturers recommend us to keep this sanitized mask in polyethylene packaging.
