Tick, tick...
It's a little like that, isn't it? You probably feel every part of your body shaking, with impatience but also with fear.
It's normal! Fear is a natural emotion when an unknown event is approaching.
Even if you've read books, articles, and testimonies about the moment of birth, you may feel more clueless than ever.
Take a deep breath and let me tell you that baby comes with its own "instruction manual".
Yes, you read that right! The moment you give birth, your maternal instincts will kick in. You'll be amazed at how much you'll know, how quick you'll react when you sense your baby is in danger, and how you'll decipher his or her needs.
To encourage you, I decided to give you this guide. In it, you will find a series of guidelines on what you should know before you give birth.
Be at peace with yourself.
Accept your feelings and your weaknesses. You still have time to reconnect with yourself and put your thoughts and feelings in order.
Make peace with yourself and others! Forgive yourself and forgive! Step forward with confidence and an open soul!
Prepare it to embrace the whole world and a new life: that of your child!
This way, it will be much easier for you to endure the postpartum period. It will be quite hectic, with many changes that will require you.
Call upon the practice of Haptonomy
Have you heard of this term before or is this the first time you've seen it?
In case it's unfamiliar to you, let me explain a little about what it refers to.
"The Science of Affection" or Haptonomy is the safest way to create a close bond with your baby, from the time he is in his little house in the womb.
How do you do that?
Simple! By touch.
Touch becomes the main channel of communication between you and your baby.
The tenderness with which you caress your belly is miraculously transmitted to your little one and calms him down.
Do you want him to know that he is safe, loved and wanted?
Touch it!
Get into his socks!
I would have said boots, but it's much too small for such footwear.
Close your eyes and briefly transform into a baby.
At first glance, it seems like a trivial exercise, but if you dig deeper, you'll realize how important it is to do this. Both for you as a mother and for him.
Imagine that you are your child and you are about to leave the house you have lived in for 9 months.
How would you feel? So it would be very difficult for you and you would be terrified?
You probably feel like crying non-stop. You would hang on to the cord with all your strength, just to stay there a little longer.
However, what helps you imagine this?
You will forget about your hardships and empathize with his suffering. Otherwise, you will get over his episodes of uncontrollable crying. Because you will know that he is justified in doing this and he does not want to torment you.
Think about it: you come home after giving birth, but he never comes back!
“With the house behind”
This is what many future dads look like when they embark on Motherhood.
Bags, backpacks, pouches... you could say that moms are moving there all the time.
The intention is good: the mother wants to have everything she needs with her during her hospitalization.
The only inconvenience is that there are dozens of other women like her, and the space in the Maternity Ward is not exactly the most generous.
Now, all kidding aside, try to make a list ahead of time of everything you think you'll need both before you give birth (during labor) and after.
Be honest with yourself and don't just take whatever you have in the house.
Also consult with mothers who have already given birth, although each one is unique and has the same needs.
As a little tip, for the little one, sets like the ones on our website https://camerabebelusului.ro/collections/maternitate-baietei, with 3, 5 or even 10 pieces, are very practical.

- Toilet paper, kitchen roll, kitchen towel
- Hairbrush with mirror (it's smaller and takes up less space), hair elastics, toothbrush

Looking at the proposed lists now, you'll take about half of the house.
It's okay! Better to have it than to be stressed that you're missing something important.
The luggage is ready! I'm going to sleep!
If you've calmed down with your preparations for Maternity, you can take advantage of the remaining time to rest in advance.
On the bed, on the chair, in the car, wherever you get the chance, close your eyes and sink into a deep sleep!
This way, you will be energized for the sleepless nights that await you after birth.
I hug you and I hope that all the tips in this article were useful to you!
I wish you an easy birth!
